What is this algae ?

Hi everybody,

I wonder if someone could help me identify what kind of algae is growing on this fern please ?

Should cut the infected leaves?

Any recommendation would be great!

It might be new plantlets growing from the mother plant. Are you sure its an algae. Is it only in that plant and leaf? If its not in other plants I think you shouldnt worry.
If it were an algae itd probably be BBA (black beard) which normally appears due to low/ fluctuating co2 levels.

Its a new plantlets, baby plants growing from the mother leaf. Normal for fern species

Hi, I'm new to planted tank so I'm quickly worried... It's only on the ferns so it's probably not an algae but like you both said, new plantlets. In that case I'm happy
