Hey guys,

Figured I'd get this journal started, as I'll be rescaping my Lido 120 the coming week. Have been having an play around with the hardscape, and was just wondering about some feedback. I'll get the specs out of the way first.

Hardware:
Juwel Lido 120
Juwel Internal Filter with the 600 lph pump
Juwel Daylight tubes with reflectors
Juwel Heater 150 W
Hydor Koralia Nano 900 (runs from 1 PM to 11 PM; located directly above the CO2 Diffusor)
DIY Bio CO2 via Ceramic CO2 Diffusor
JBL ProSilent a50 airpump through an Eheim Air Diffusor (runs from 1 AM to 1 PM to gas off excess CO2)

Substrate (reused from current scape):
Dennerle DeponitMix Professional 9in1
Nameless black sand

Hardscape:
Redmoor Root
Ardennes Gray

Flora:
Utricularia Gramminafolia
Micranthemum sp. "Monte Carlo"
Ludwigia sp. "Mini Super Red"
Ludwigia Glandulosa
Anubias Nana sp. "Mini"
Ammania sp. "Bonsai"
Bucephalandra Sekadau
Bucephalandra Sekadau sp. "Green Wavy"
Bucephalandra Sanggau sp. "Green Velvet"
Bucephalandra Motleyani sp. 'Melawi'
Pogostemon Erectus
Pogostemon Octopus
Pogostemon Stellatus
Staurogyne Repens
Staurogyne Repens sp. "Brown"
Staurogyne sp. "Bihar"
Taxiphyllum sp. "Spiky"
Alternanthera Reineckii sp. "Mini"

Fauna:
Gastromyzon Borneensis 12
Microgeophagus Ramirezi 2
Danio Rerio 9
Corydoras Pygmaea 12
Red Cherry Shrimp ~50
Anentome Helena x 6

CO2 & Ferts:
CO2 is on 24/7 (with an airpump running at night), going at about 4bps (with a JBL ProSafe Bubble Counter)
I dose EI (12 ml. Micro (days 1-3-5) and 6 ml. Macro (days 2-4-6) with one restday)
I dose Flourish Iron (days 1-3-5) (2,5 ml.)

Here the hardscape so far. I have some more Redmoor pieces coming in tomorrow, and I'm thinking about changing the stone to a "rougher" cut of Ardennes Gray, or perhaps something else; these look to rounded off and perfect for my taste.

Would love some feedback on the hardscape guys!

Nice wood, I also prefer more jagged stone but perhaps fish prefer rounded stone ;)

Re fauna, I'm confused if this is a present fish list or future fish plans, but here's my thoughts anyways
Gastromyzon Borneensis - if you really mean 12, that's a lot of these fish in a fairly small footprint ... fishbase lists this species as 10cm SL & Gastromyzon sp are usually fairly demanding of excellent water quality (& oxygen levels), males can also be quite territorial (perhaps G Borneensis is different???)

Thanks guys! Will be hunting for other stone this morning, and with the additional wood coming in, it should alter the scape significantly. I agree with it being too centered, the rock basically ditacted that due to its (too large) size, it will move slightly to the left, with more wood added there as well to give it some more height.

As far as the G. Borneensis; these are a very small sp., I have 5 in my 50L at the moment, and they love it in there, they have maxed out at about 5-6 cms, no territorial issues, in fact, they sort of school together when hunting for algae on the rocks, lovely to see.

So, no luck with some different stone, but luckily I still had some rather "rough" Ardennes Grey in my basement, plus some more in one of my 25L cubes which are waiting for a rescape, so I gutted that one, used some elbow grease to get some of the green algae of it, and Bob was once again my uncle. ;)
I also received the extra pieces of Redmoor I ordered, was a bit disappointed at first, until I remembered they were the exact ones I ordered. Let that be a lesson to you kids, never order stuff online after a peticularly alcoholic work outing.
Well, after some messing about and trying out different setups, this is what I've come up with. I think it looks much better, more out of center, some more height to the left, and more balance in general. Let me know what you think!

This looks really good, like it :)

I'm interested in your EI dose and worrying whether I have mine wrong. I have a TMC Signature 60x45x45, so that's about 120 litres, roughly the same size as your aquarium. I'm using the APFUK EI starter kit and it says that I should dose 10ml per 50 litres for both macro and micro on alternate days. I'm therefore dosing 25ml of each which is significantly more than your 12ml and 6ml?
