Hi guys,

Here is my new creation.

Dennerle scapers tank 45x36x31h (cm)
Cabinet Custom made by me (DIY)
2 x 24WDennerle Scapers lights
Tropica soil
JBL CristalProfi 701
Inline heater Hydor 200w
CO2 1.5bps 24\7

Plants:
Tropica's Hemianthus Cuba, Riccardia Chamedryfolia, Cladophora Aegagropila, Fissidens Fontanus, , Eleocharis Sp. Mini, Hygrophila Pinnatifida
Other plants: Elatine Hydropiper, Elatine Triandra, Fissidens mini, Fissidens sp., Rotala Goias, Bucephalandra Mini "Needle Leaf", Bucephalandra Wavy leaf

I wanted to create something simple as a design, very much Nature aquarium style, with wood and sharp edges. Then I came across this hardscape and instantly fall in love with it. Some quick phone snaps to follow. Mind the quality ;):

Wasn't sure if it will fit the tank, but it turned out quite well...I think:

With the Tropica's soil:

I have planted it yesterday and will post a pic later on today or tomorrow.

Meanwhile here are some pictures of the cabinet. Wanted to be exactly the same size as the tank and to keep the same streamline and curves of the tank.

Coated me around £70, including the tools, that I didn't have...

The raw material:

Drilling the hole on the back and the half moon openings on the sides, were a challenge, as I had to do them with a drill and a bore 6mm. But I think they came up quite well.

Did 2 coats of undercoat and primer.

Then applied 3 coats of black water based paint. (Don't use sponge rollers for water based paint!!)

Here some pics of it completed.

Looking great. The wood is quite architectural. Nice workshop as well;)

Thanks Troi! Its not my workshop, but a friend of mine allows me to use it :)
Hi Antoni, Great hardscape  Fab build on the unit bravo
Looking forward to seeing it planted now :)

Thank you mate! Will make some better pics of the cab and the tank, as the pics with the phone, didn't come up well.

onto another winner with this Antoni, superb plant list, especially like the Elatine Trianda, top job on the cabinet too mate.
Thanks Tim! I am quite excited about the elatines. They are awesome plants and have been hunting for them, quite some time!
