Hello UKAPS people,

I am looking for a nice internal filter for my 54 litre aquarium with a good flow for distribution.
Would help if i can connect my sodastream CO2 to it.

Do you have any recommendations without me having to break the bank? I am on a low budget :(. May around 20 quid or so.

Thanks Andy.
I have DHG and HC cuba so I use CO2.

I have put more details about my set up below:

Currently use a Superfish internal 100 filter(need to replace it as it stops intermittently)
Sodastream CO2 (currently the ceramic diffuser is below the intake of the filter to help with the co2 flow)
EI dose
Inert gravel
Liquid carbo
Aquatlantis Easy LED

I love the Aqua-ball filters too. I've had one running in my son's goldfish tank for years. It has outlasted 2 fluval internal filters and countless little box filters on our other tanks

So easy to add extra media trays. Multiple sponges so you can just clean one at a time.
Doesn't get noisy like some of the cheaper brands.
Easy to change the direction of the output flow to suit your tank

Only drawbacks are

Slightly more expensive
Bigger than the small black box style internal filters
Green
The suckers that attach it to the glass need replacing regularly as they go brittle
