First signs of CO2 defficiency

Hi

what would be the first signs of CO2 defficiency? Lets say that a tank has a bioload that is satisfied with the CO2 injection in the tank but at some point the bioload increases to a point where CO2 needs are not met. What will be the first signs?

Personally, I look at the pearling rate.

Retardation of new growth. Any curling or yellowing of leaves. Then the dreaded algae.
