Hi all,

I'm Nate from SA and really enjoying aquatics after starting with a goldfish tank about three years ago. Research has been key over the years so the reason for me stumbling across this great forum. Please see one of my tanks and I'm certainly open to suggestions to improve always,

Tank size- 40lt
CO2 - 3 bps on for 7 hours
Internal Aquael Filter
LED & Odysea dual lamp - Growlux,Skywhite bulbs on for 7 hours


Fauna- Fire Red Shrimps

Flora - Fissidens, Flame Moss, Staurogyne Repens, HC, Bolbitus, cryptocorynne parva and lastly bucephalandra

Had a good spell of GSA, did a good clean yesterday and 80% water change, hope it helps!

Jeepers time flies,

The Fissidens growing in nicely and added some Rotala Macrandra and fauna some Borarus Maculatus. Not sure if the placement of the Rotala is ideal

Thanks @PARAGUAY, it's growing in nicely. I'm thinking of adding a canister filter with some water lily pipes. I'm having some flow issues with the Aquael internal filter.
