Mounting TMC Tile over 15L Pico?

Hi guys,

So currently I've got a TMC Aquaray Mini LED 400 over my TMC Microhabitat 15.

Its producing great results, but on such a small aquarium the mount supplied with it is really making it look cluttered.

I want to suspend the tile about 3 inches from the surface.

First off:

- Will this affect PAR?
- Will this affect evap?

And secondly, I want to mount it like a pendant. Just a single tile hanging over the surface.

Any ideas?
It's on a small cabinet, so I was thinking about buying an old poise lamp and somehow mounting it to the head of it & training the wire down the lamp. but I feel like the wired pendant would look so much nicer.

Also - I want to keep it on a DIY budget.

If the light at 3 inches above the surface is lower than it currently is then the PAR will be increased.

Do you have the option to suspend from the ceiling?

Unfortunately not! I'm a student, so renting a house - can't really go drilling holes!
