Tropics Plant Subsrate

I have 2 bags of Unipac Silica Sand, can I use this as a capping for Tropica Plant substrate or should I go with another type of capping?

Why cap it at all? Aquasoil doesn't need capping.

You mean the plant growth substrate (dirt one)? if so then yes you can.
