James' 60P - 6 month Update

6 Month Update
Tank is now 6 months old, I've been having a fairly major staghorn problem and while it seems impossible to get rid of it entirely I have got it down to a point where it's manageable. I was having to dose way more Co2 than i was happy with to get to 30ppm so changed back to an in tank diffuser, which has halved my co2 usage. I've also throttled the lights to about 85%. The background is growing in well, although one of the things staghorn likes is the bottom of the stems after I trim them, so progress has been slower than I would have liked. I also added a few Lemon Tetras as the embers got a bit shy and hid in the Blyxa a lot. This tank will probably be taken down before I move in mid September, so i'm really hoping to get the background fully grown in by then.
