DIY Spray bar help

Hi all,

I'm looking for some help.

I've made a diy pvc spray bar for my eheim pro 3 filter but I'm not sure what pipe fittings (if any) I need to connect it to the filter tubing (16/22mm).

I've used 21.5 mm PVC overflow pipe from B&Q for the spray bar.

Do I use hotwater and brute force to stretch the tubing over the pvc or some kind of hose tail fitting?

Most people use pipe with a similar outside diameter to the inside diameter of their hoses.
It might be possible to stretch the hose to make it fit, I stretched 12/16 tubing onto a 16mm spraybar but it was difficult

Throw the tubing in the tumble drier for 10 mins and give it a go, you've got nothing to lose

Get some cheap tubes (white) and experiment with those until you get what you are looking for, later you can replace with better looking one.

Thanks for the replies guys.

After much huffing, puffing and cursing I managed to get the tube over the pipe using hotwater. Only got to do it another 3 times then I'm done - I have 2 filters which I'm diying spray bars and intakes!
