Hi Folks although I've kept fish for over 40 years I'm very new to keeping a pressurised co2 system.
I'm looking forward to learning from some of you 'old hands'.
I lived in Central Scotland until 13 years ago and never had any trouble growing plants. The water was great in every way. Since moving from Scotland I have kept Central/South American Cichlids with lots of rock and some artificial plants. A year ago I purchased my new Juwel 260 litre aquarium with plans of having lots of plants and tetras like I started with 40 years ago.
I've never lost a single fish but can't keep plants. Until a week ago I had never used ferts and I had never even seen a live pressurised co2 system until I fitted one yesterday. Hoping to get my PH down from 7.6 which I was never happy with. The water around here doesn't even taste good!
