Hi there,

I am interested in cichlids and a member of ciklid.org (in Swedish)
That made me look around for plants. Plants to build a piece of a biotope.

My choice of biotope is South America and the river Rio Tapajos, below the city Itaituba (see map)
It was your fantastic plantbase that caught my attention.
I hope to find answers and discover new things I did not even knew I was interested in.

The first thing I need to learn is how to search plants occurring in Rio Tapajos

Welcome on board. Would love a small pair of Cichlids in my tank, virtually every tanl I've had has had a pair, very interesting fish to watch. Unfortunately they don't get on with shrimp so I'm not taking a chance this time.
