Try a bottle trap
1x Water bottle
Cut top 1/3 off
Reverse it and push into the bottom 2/3
Put in some tempting food
Fill will water and submerge

I thought about that, but as this tank is not at my home and I can't go there every day, I'm not sure if it's a good idea. Probably going for it anyway, leave the trap in the tank over night and check it the next day.
