My First Planted tank

Setting up my first planted tank.

I had a question about driftwood planting. Attached is the image of my setup, currently in the third day of dry start. From the initial layout I moved to stones a bit to the right.

I wanted ideas on how to setup my drift wood. Initially I was planning some moss and make it look like a tree, but I am not sure. Any suggestions on plants I can use on the drift wood, also can it be done along with the dry start or should I wait and do it before I fill water?

I was initially looking at mixing DHG with Montecarlo for Carpet, I currently have only DHG. How will it be to mix with montecarlo? how easy is it growing MC?

How often should I keep spraying water? Twice a day or just once ?

Regarding you questions ... you should treat the dry start as a wabi kusa. You should reproduce in the tank the conditions from a greenhouse. This means to cover the tank with plastic foil, to flod the substrate up to the level of the plants and to ensure right temperature and light. This way you don't need to spray plants with water, condensed water will ensure the moisture.

Almost completing two week into my DSM(in two days). I am getting worried. Don't see much growth and plants browning

I do 8 hours lighting, spary water mixed with DENNERLE SCAPER’S GREEN, twice a day.
