Evening all,
I'm soon to setup up my 60P with a Oase Biomaster 600 Thermo and was wondering what people think in terms of how to setup up the trays.
It comes with 45PPI foam in the prefilter, followed by two trays of K1 media, two course foam and one medium foam.
The first change I've made is changing the pre filter foam to 30PPI foam. I know people have mixed opinions of K1, but I want to use it and personally I think it's best in the bottom tray as the turbulence caused by the flow should agitate the media. I'm going to be using Purigen for chemical filtration and I've got some Biohome Ultimate kicking around as well.
