Adding more Colour

Hey Everyone

after looking at some of the stunning photos of the Dutch style aquariums I just thinking about adding a bit more colour,

Initially, I was thinking about adding a red tiger lotus to the front of the tank, but after reading about them taking over decided it seems a bad idea
Now thinking about adding Alternanthera reineckii 'Mini' to the front and Ludwigia palustris

What do people think?

Here's a photo of what things are currently looking like

Ps I've replanted the java at the front so the roots aren't buried.
