Hello,

I have a jbl 1501 (updated to 1502) and i recently purchased ada bio rio .

Do you have any experience about this combination? Do i have to put it on a foam edge or directly into the basket?

Jbl mentions in the instructions guide to NOT put filter media bags.

I see that is much smaller than sintered glass balls and i do not want to decrease my flow by a wrong setup.

Thank you

Hi
U will reduce the flow by jam packing the filter with media.U dont need much media in as your plants and substrate will do your filtering. I have same filter with sponges and only half a basket of siporax in it and a bag of purigen and here is a video about my livestock levels(adult pair and about 200+ juveniles)

No problems whatsoever with water quality
Regards Konsa
