Has c02 art always been a good product? Only asking as I have found a regulator and solenoid that a mate had about 5 years ago, still connected to a 5kg c02 bottle. No damage visible.
 
Your guess is better than mine as you can see the reg and bottle. It is more the bottle I’d be worried about. Any doubts discard that and use the reg on a new bottle.
