Substrate depth

I'm in the process of gathering bits to set up a 35l tank, I'm planning on using JBL aquabasis plus capped with gravel, thing is I'm not sure what depth of aquabasis to go with, any recommendations?

I really don't think it matters to much. The cap is just to keep it down and for aesthetics. The aquabasis could be anything from 1 upwards, put as much or as little gravel/sand on top

Cheers for that, will go with a few cm of aquabasis and however much gravel I've got left in the cupboard.

i've used as much as 7 at the back.

in a 35L use the bag and give your self some depth. it wont harm.
