Fungus on Spiderwood

How long does it take for this white fluffy stuff to stop appearing on Spiderwood? It’s only attaching itself in a few places at the moment and I keep brushing it off but it comes back in a couple of days. Just wondering how long before it stops or do I need to do something specific to stop it? TIA.

Not long, 3-4 weeks or so. Amano shrimp will eat it also.

As above time wise unless you soaked it first which speeds up the white fluff stuff stage, its oozing out of the wood not attaching its normal though
