Inline diffuser set-up

OK, so first time CO2 set up question so apologies if this seems a bit daft! I have an inline diffuser set up but haven't connected the CO2 yet. I'm I right in expecting water to leak back out of the CO2 input if there's no CO2 pushing through?

Yes I've found this out the hard way after forgetting it and having a cheap check valve installed

Get a good check valve or securely fix the tubing so it drips back into the tank

cool thanks . I've stuck the bubble counter on the end for now and that's sorted it short term!

A lot of bubble counters have non return valves built in but I like to add an extra one; just incase
