Oase Aqua Activ Dechlorinator

I'd let George farmer try it out for a while I know he is sponsored by them but might aswell wait and see what he says

I talk to a lot of pond guys who also have aquariums. They have used them or similar for years and sear by them.

personally I prefer seachem prime. Alternatively seachem Safe if you prefer the dry type. Not quite as reliable as the the prime I think.

Hi @Richard40

According to World Of Water, stockists of the Oase Aqua Activ Dechlorinator, this product:

"Immediately binds chlorine and heavy metals from the tap water" and "Contains top quality high-capacity activated charcoal".

I cannot see how it would be effective against chloramine, which is increasingly being used by water companies to disinfect tap water. You may want to pursue this directly with Oase before considering a purchase.
