I am thinking of setting up a chocolate gourami tank. It's going to be black water, low light, possibly without CO2 (although I'm open to suggestions) with a pH around 5.
Off the top of my head, the tank I'm looking at is a cube, around 220 litres with 2X18watt (I think) T8 lights.
Ideally, I'd like it to have lots of branchy wood, with ferns/anubias/moss etc growing on it with lots of almond leaves on the substrate and some floating plants. Maybe some vallis.
Are there any plants anyone knows of that could live in such acidic water without much light?
