So I finally got round to unboxing and placing my Superfish Scaper 90 in the kitchen . It’s been sat in my garage for about 2 months !! I searched YouTube for a better option of filtration than the one that came with the tank . Thanks to seedoubleyou who passed on a pimped out Oase 250 biomaster I was ready to start . I’ve pretty much settled on the hard scape of rock only and won’t start planting until after Christmas. Going for Montecarlo with a few small Anubias on the rocks . Will run Co2 as well .
If somebody could recommend a good/nice looking co2 diffuser for what is basically a 60P would be appreciated.
Managed to free up the cupboard below the tank for the filter and drill holes in worktop for pipe work . Wife was soooo pleased !!
Not sure how / what to stock the tank with other than Cherry Shrimp again suggestions / advice would be appreciated .
So here’s where I’m at

Nice job with the scape!

But why the intake in the front? That one gets dirty in like 3 daya after you clean it. The outflow stays squicky clean about a week or so and even then it's not that bad.

codpin good shout will switch them around . Never used Glass inlet/outlet before never crossed my mind about the inlet pipe

nice perspective...

...why not go to a Co2 reactor instead of a diffuser? Fewer bubbles +better dissolving rate. Found it more efficient and effective..

Maybe an inline diffuser for CO2.

He mentioned he has a Oase 250 and a reactor will cut the flow by a lot so that won't work. Also the noise that most reactors do is something to take into consideration.

It has the filter head of a 600 on there, Flow shouldn’t be an issue.
But you’re suggestion of an inline diffuser is definitely a good one for a tank of that size.

So the plan was to plant the tank after Christmas but I clearly have the breaking strain of a wet KitKat . So having a rare day off with nothing to yo I cracked on .

So tank and filter up and running will have to wait until after Christmas to set up Co2 . - Maybe - .

Looks great, but you will need A LOT more plant mass to avoid algae issues. Especially with predominantly slow growers and a very high powered light. I would recommend some floaters as it will dim the lights and make things easier for you.

What @plantnoobdude said, 3 or 4 bunches of L Sessiliflora will do the trick, you don't have to plant it in the substrate. The Buces might also take a bit of a hit in an immature tank but it maybe OK.
Scape looks great to me!

All plants taken from living room tank which has been running for a year or so looking to source some Red Root floaters and will throw in some L .sessiliflora in pot’s tomorrow
I have a load of Rotala Rotundifolia in other tank so may just bunch some of them up to throw in
