Hi all

Just got a boyu diffuser and not sure whether the inlet pipe means the one that pumps the water back into tank or the one that pumps it into filter.

This is the one I got off ebayhttp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CO2-Carbon-Di...66:2|39:1|72:1683|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50 and it has a diagram on the box to show you but Im not clear and before i start cutin gpipes I wanted to check Im doing it right.

Can anyone advise please?
Thanks
Julia

Thanks Steve, thats what thought but on the box it looks like its on the pipe that takes water into the filter.

Re: Boyu CO2 diffuser - so far so good...

It can go inline outside or inside the tank. Mine is outside, connected into the tube then returns water to the tank from the filter.

And on this thread http://ukaps.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=6139&start=20it sounds like nry has got the CO2 going into his filter first.

Does it actually matter?

I don't suppose it really matters to be honest. I guess the diffusion rate might be higher if you put it on the intake, but I doubt its essential. I've got mine on the outlet and it massively increased diffusion over the other methods I used, had to turn the bubble rate down quite a bit.

Great bit of kit, you'll not be disappointed.

FYI - put the co2 tubing on it before the filter hosing, you'll find you get a much better fit that way around :)
