Just a quick one, how good is the internal filter that comes as standard in the Juwel Rekord 120? Can't find much information about it.

i have a 120, whilst its fine if you have say a few micro rasboras, it really isnt great. All internals arent a scratch on an external. if i was you, rip it out (its easy, its held on by 4 blobs of silicone 
) and get a TT Ex1200 in there, much much better.
i took my filter out during a W/C, before all the cr*p built up behind it. Oh and when you do that, invest in a better 200w heater, not the 150W juwel provide, i found the 200w to be much much better.

Cheers Nick. The tank I've been offered still has the internal filter/heater, the silicone has been removed for easy cleaning though. TBH I think I'll go external anyway, was just interested how good this filter is. Can always flog it along and get a bit of money back.
