Hi,
I'm sure this question is probably asked on a daily basis, but some help would be appreciated. I have a brown algae beginning to cover the leaves on my plants. I'm running a Rio180 with an additional internal filter and 2 Hagen CO2 diffusers with each canister containing a home made mixture. The lights are on for 10 hours a day (which I suspect is the problem). The substrate is JBL Aquabasis with a covering of Play Sand and JBL24 added each day.
1) How do I best get rid of the Algae?
2) Whats causing it? (I suspect too much light)
Thanks in advance
Richard
