Oh right,I had no idea that was on 24 hours a day.Now you come to mention it though,is it grown under a different light spectrum,it's like an ultra violet lamp isn't it,like a sunbed?

What plants are they Louis?(ot having a pop btw,genuinely interested).

Forgive my ignorance of scientifc matters,but do plants not produce o2 and take in co2 in daylight,and the other way round during darkness?Or something basically like that.I would have thought that it was equally as important to have a period of darkness,purely for optimal plant health. Ok,that's what I was thinking,they need the direct light over them rather than a combined period of natural and lamps.Timer it is then,more money :cry:

Thanks Steve,soo,lights off during the day,on at 6.30,off around 10ish.Is this ok with the daylight on top or does it need more direct,ie,the actual tanklights?Am I going to need a timer? (Told you I was a numpty,give me an idiots guide).
