As everyones experiences are different, when I was keeping and breeding EBR's the pH was about 6 (maybe a little lower). I personally found them no more difficult to keep than GBR's. I wish I never stopped breeding them, I thought about getting another pair just for my community tank and cannot...

I have approx 15 bronze corys in my tank, along with 15 or so lemon tetras and 12 black phantoms. Also have 50+ cherry shrimp.... no issues at all.

Hi Some info for Cornish / SW members, I'm still hunting for somewhere down here to do refills. All I've found so far is J Gas Supplies in Perranporth. They will only fill cylinders that they have sold, a 6.35kg cylinder is £78.80 inc vat and they will refill this size for £16.80 inc vat...

I think dehumidifiers produce what is in effect distilled water, but I wouldnt use it in any tank of mine...

I wasn't going to say anything about the sponge bob house... ;) mine have little slate caves that they sometimes hide in. I feed mine Atison's Betta Pro or Hikari Betta Bio Gold depending on how flush I'm feeling when I need to buy more. Every now and then they might get 1 or 2 individual...

Have a look in the DIY section mate, lots of informative threads in there :) On a side note, do you have a controller for the aqua ray? The only reason I ask is that I know some people use the tiles (without controllers) and find them too bright so have to raise them higher above the tank.

I've got two males in a partitioned tank... one of them (a blue HM butterfly called Shalke) is (and always has been) a total lazy bugger... where as the other male (a red crown tail called Rufus) has always been really active... I'm not sure if it's due to the selective breeding to create the...

Well I ended up ordering yesterday morning (at about 9am) from the green machine.... I've got my fingers crossed it'll come today but I've got a sneaking suspicion that it wont :(

Yeah that's the one mate. Don't get me wrong, everything else about the place sucked but I tend to expect that in P@H now. You could tell which plant's had been sat there for a while. Nope not been there yet, will give it a look next time I'm up that way :)|

I popped into the Plymouth P@H today and there selection was much better. They also told me that any store should be able to order any tropica plants in, so I'm going to pop into my local one and make an order. They had some mother plants in (ordered for someone else) they looked so good. Sent...
