Pretty drastic trim as you can see, but starting to get some new shoots after 5 days. It just needs to fill in. Just need to pull out the remaining moss that's got stuck in there.

Planting/Trimming Marsilea Crenata & Marsilea Histura

I just trimmed all mine back to the substrate. It’s been growing 6 months and was starting to get dense and a bit ugly. I’m hoping it’s going to grow back now. It was planted quite densely in clumps when I planted it at first. I’ve probably killed it :dead:

    LED Dimmer solution - BUT

Funnily enough, I took the dimmer off because I could run at full power with almost 0 algae issues. I just get the odd bit of green spot which is phosphate driven due to my use of RO water and ADA ferts. I just run really high Co2. I have added one of these to ramp up and down my Aquasky light...

    ADA Light screen

What you’re going to get though is a bright light on the bottom and a bright light at the top. Evolution Aqua Complete Liquid Plant Food

Hi Gaina. I have been using since it first can out all those months ago. I have cherry and Amano Shrimp in all three tanks and snails in my large tank and they all are doing fine. I also seem to recall George Famer using it in a tank with CRS and they were doing fine, so I’d say it’s ok.

I’ve been using my dimmer over 6 months now without any noticeable affects like heat etc. If the twinstar unit was out at the time I would have probably opted for one of them, purely because they look similar and have an inline dimmer included. Yes, they did. The rock was 46kg in the design. I asked for an additional 10kg for artistic expression. £355 delivered, so £6.33 per kg delivered. I used to have a Dennerl (?) co2 reactor somewhere. I was trying to find it. I think it's in the loft. I've ordered the Sera. I've got a Eheim 600T and 600 classic running, so flow shouldn't be an issue. If the Sera really can dissolve all the co2 before leaving the reactor, then I don't see...

  59. David Shanahan

Up Aqua diffuser before a foam filled filter

I don't think it will matter too much. I'm running an Eheim 600T too. 2800 LPH over 2 filters is probably plenty enough for a 160 litre tank
  60. David Shanahan

Up Aqua diffuser before a foam filled filter

  61. David Shanahan

Up Aqua diffuser before a foam filled filter

Does anyone have an opinion, or does anyone run a diffuser before a foam filled filter. Good bad results? The filter is a Eheim 600 classic, so bubbles should go in the bottom and diffuse before reaching the outlet. Well, that's the theory.
