Thanks. The ph controller is the best investment for my pace of mind. Everything in the setup is done to some sort of standard of my own convenience and this one plays a big part in it :) And yes, I still boost the RO water with enough to get in the range of ph6.8-7 and I let my gas to run it...

this one now is 371 days old! Still no plans to strip it down 👌🏻

Hi, yes. Just a good siphoning up all the leftovers right after trimming and on next water change. That's it. If some bits get still trapped somewhere I'm not that pedantic, and the current style of scape aids it too

AquaSys 230 has nice dimensions.. I love the depth of it, gives some extra space in all directions to play with the scape

Nice hardscape.. Since MC is not epiphyte it is quite risky. If lean dosing.. I bet on it won't survive. With EI you might have a chance. I have seen successful scapes, yes.. but also fails. If foreground is grass carpet, I would see a small leaf mix fit in well on the branches.. anubias...

yesterday 6 Angels went in.. all in size of 3-3.5 cm (and yes, with time some will have to move out as they grow :) I have some cardinal tetra and lowlight danio arriving tomorrow.

I use these to increase/decrease flow + fine mesh bag on the other side of the hose to catch any moss (when trimming moss..as you want to reattach that) Hold on your horses, don't blast it out. Give mother nature a chance.. you need 2 weeks about'ish before you can make any solid judgments...

Hi, Your base stones are heavy enough to stop the wood from floating. I would suggest some plastic straps or fishing line, that later could be just cut off, or covered by plants :rolleyes: .. And your buce and anubias could go in right away :cool: Lauris

Same thoughts on adding amonia. I have had a struggle in past with few projects where at the start I couldn't manage the amonia and so the nitite spikes and ended up in a battle with different algae types (inc. the ones mentioned above) from the week one. This made the journey less pleasant...
