    Decisions Decisions on upgrade

I had a Sony Xperia T, and loved it. I have just upgraded to a Xperia Z1 compact. A high end phone in a small form factor. It's superb. I vote Sony.

I have one of these in my 120l tank to improve co2 distribution. I am happy with it too. Very quiet and no issues.

    pump from a jerrycan

I have had this one for nearly 9 years, but I just looked for one that would go onto tubing. Then I bought the right size tubing :-)

    pump from a jerrycan

You could use a powerhead that you place in the tank with an inlet pipe going off to the jerrycan. I use one to pump up from my bucket to the tank with an outlet pipe. It saves the old back a bit. ;-)

New to pressurised CO2 - ready to purchase

When I decided to purchase this unit, I had a good idea where it originated from. I didn't believe for one minute that co2art were making their own regulators. Based on lots of positive feedback on co2art and the kit, I was happy that I would get a reasonable, adjustable regulator (dual stage or...

    Need help installing solenoid

Hi, I have this regulator (the version with solenoid for the extra tenner), and I am very happy with it. Maybe it's worth putting the solenoid you have now up for sale, and getting this combination instead? Phil.

    Matt's Lido 120

That's looking nice. Did taking the reflectors off and shortening the lighting period help with the hair algae? I have recently added co2 to my Lido 120 and the plants are all the healthiest I have ever managed. Sent from my SGP311 using Tapatalk

    Soda Stream CO2

When Soda stream say these bottles are 60 litres, they mean it makes 60 litres of fizzy drink. :-) It confused me at first when I was investigating. Phil. Sent from my SGP311 using Tapatalk

    Paintball CO2 bottle

Well, My tank is also a Lido 120. The 3kg bottle fits easily. But you may not have a local supplier of these. Probably worth checking out your local options for co2, as I think you could use lots of different types of bottle. The equipment can remain the same, you just use a different...

    Paintball CO2 bottle

Hi HullTiger86, A great first question. I was recently looking for co2 equipment and this was also one I considered. When I looked into it, it was a fair trek to the nearest paintball location that was willing to fill it. I decided on different equipment from co2art and found a very local...

New co2 setup - advice needed

Stop the clock....I've found the crystal problem. I thought I would revert back to an old school method and quietened the house down. I then proceeded to listen for gas escaping. :) Glad I did. I could hear some. Turned the solenoid off, it stopped. GREAT ! So its either the solenoid, the...

New co2 setup - advice needed

Hi, As per the other thread, I have recently purchased a pressurised co2 system for the first time. I have set it up today and I currently have two questions. Firstly, the system seems to be working well apart from one thing. If I turn the solenoid off, the gas flow stops as expected. If I...

New to pressurised CO2 - ready to purchase

So, the equipment has arrived. A few photos below so you can have a good look. A quick question on the bubble counter if I may. It has a small black rubber washer rattling inside. I can't seen what good this does. Am I right to think that this comes out and goes between the counter and the...

New to pressurised CO2 - ready to purchase

Rob, I am a newbie as well. Many people have single stage regs and never see eotd. I may not have either, but for such a modest increase in cost, I was happy to pay this to reduce the chance. I have now found a (very) local source of CO2 bottle and refills. I am going on Friday to pick one...

New to pressurised CO2 - ready to purchase

An update, So overnight the site got updated to show an original price of £ 199 for this reg, and that it's on sale at £ 56.95. I phoned earlier, and spoke to someone. He confirms that it is truly a dual stage reg and is very precise and controllable. They have kept the prices very low to get...

New to pressurised CO2 - ready to purchase

Hi everyone, (first post, please be kind :) ) I have been keeping and breeding fish for too long now, and have used yeast based CO2 to help some plant growth. (mostly to help the fish be comfortable and keep algae at bay) I am finding the yeast system inconsistent and I think this is causing...
