A tight bend acts like a restriction so there will be a loss of energy and loss of flow rate. You probably won't notice the difference as the big loss will be through the filter, reactor and heater (if you have one).

Get the old design, sturdy as a rock and cleaning isn't a problem. The new design has a couple of issues, the co2 nipple snaps off, (CO2 sent an adaptor free of charge). The chamber is weak and will leak after a while. This happened on both of new design diffusers I bought.

I feed my Bees twice a week of a very small amount. Cherries won't kill other healthy shrimp. As EdwinK says they might start eating shrimp that have died or on the verge of dying. I usually pull the dead shrimp out before that happens though.

Not frowned upon just that it won't last long in a 100l aquarium and they're not the best delivery system. In my 125l a 3kg fire extinguisher lasts about 2 months. They cost about 10-15 quid to refill at a fire service.

It is quite a brittle stem plant to be fsir so i could see it getting trashed in that ballon of a bag. I use k2aqua on ebay. Haven't gone wrong with their vitro plants and these stems grew out great.

Depends on how easy it is for you to do so. Don't think you'll have a problem unless he or you have been selective breeding them using the same small batch of males to get the 'best' genes. If you're just leaving them to breed like rabbits then they'll have quite a diverse gene pool anyway.

Population control is reduced feeding or a finger nail. They're harmless and a benefit to the tank however they can get out of control. They shouldn't last to long in a CO2 tank though.

I use it sometimes in my low tech tank because I have a tub of it. The amount I use it will probably last me 5 years. You can use it as a GH booster there's no harm in doing so. MgSo4 + CaCl +EI will cover everything better.

I made my pre-filter sponge cutting PPI10 into a strip, wrapping it around the intake with black zip ties. If you want it neater you can use fishing line to sow a seam (doesn't need to be great needle work) and then trimming the excess sponge away.

Coarse filter sponge works really well. You don't need to fill the whole filter. I would just put up a piece next to the outlet.

Yes ignore your water report as like test kits they not really an accurate picutre of your water. Absoutly no harm to fish or plants by dosing nitrate. If you really want to cut it out no one is stopping you though.

Safest method would be to get a large container, stick it in your garden and fill with water, change the water every week or so until the thing sinks, I would probably do four or five 100% water changes. PS strip the bark from it and make sure it's from a hard wood tree.

Like most plants, just keep on replanting until the stop uprooting. Sag will start growing like wild fire sending out runners in a month or so.

No you can not run 2 pumps (filters) in series, you would need a seperate inlet and outlet just like you would for a another filter. You cannot run two filters in series either, they are basically a pump in a bucket.

If you're just getting a filter to run an inline diffuser/reactor then why don't you just get an external like the EHEIM Universal Pumps. Cheaper and smaller then a filter and won't have the restrictions. There are also cheaper brands.

Don't worry about the effect of pH caused by CO2 addition and fish. If you're fish are stressed, gasping at the surface then this is caused by to much dissolved CO2 in the water, not the pH level.
