I've put one if these on my 600 x450x300 tmc sig. By the size of the actual footprint if the filter I was expecting to have to turn the unit s flow down but tbo it's so weak and just hasn't the power I would expect in comparisn to eheim if similar size. Maybe it's me but does anyone else agree...

    Fish suggestions

I can appreciate the galaxy raspora as I have had them some years back , really striking once matured. I think I am going to go with cardinals or blue harlequins. Just settling the tank in a little longer as the nitrogen cycle is active at present. Cheers

    Lighting Options

I am glad you have asked this question as I have the same . As I am a avid life long coral fanatic I am thinking of using my old led unit on the white channel only to see what happens. I will set the intensity with a par meter so hopefully will be ok. I believe plants are far less fussy than...

    What heater for iwagumi

Right problem solved I hope. Went to the green machine and picked up a lovely bit of rock to rescale with. Going to add it to the left side and have it emerging from the water. I will hide a small heater behind and see how it goes. Also went to iron ironbridge Telford today so I grabbed some...

    What heater for iwagumi

Have set up an iwagumi style tmc sig. Don't want to see the heater so was thinking if the inline ones but they are expensive and have some reliability issues. Do people use cables on a stat or like. Suggestions please would be great. The house is around the 20 c at night so don't really get...
