    catching live food

Two questions 1. What was weird about it? :)) 2. About largest ones. I guess it is ok - the will eventually die, decompose, whatever :) I mean in my experience it was always ok - nothing wrong from some % not eaten alive :)

Aquascaper Complete Plant Food and Shrimps Behaviour

This might be just a coincident. When female amano shrimp moulds it produces some pheromones and this forces males amano swim like crazy all around. And possibly forst time adding those plant food caused change in water which triggered female moulding.

    Amano shrimps migration

No. That was during water change and at that stage it was still same water. I guess that water flow triggered migration instinct when in nature shrimps climb up the stream

About daphnia... I have one tank recently restarted. It still has no fish and water becomes green. The tank has co2 injected for plants growth. I added some daphnia to multiply on green water snd to clear the water, but for some reason daphnias are dying out instead of multiplying. So the...

    Three-spined stickleback

From first three only one survived the first night. But a week ago I caught another 4 smaller size - 1-1.8 cm. And those are fine. So now I have 5 in the tank. But behaviour is very different. The first one is very shy and always hiding, while the new ones are not shy at all!
