Hi. Had same issues. Two things Ive done: up your co2, ignore drop checkers etc just increase it. Secondly add 3-5 young true Siamese algae eaters and don't feed them at all. 2-3 weeks later my tank was algae free:) Thanks

Update! As from today my tank is algae free! What I've done : Two weeks light set to 20% Massive overdosed glutaraldehyde on day one 5 x siamese algae eaters Co2 dose max out, cannot count bubbles anymore:) Light is back on 80% now and I can't already see good growth Thanks

Don't think that pearling means that reactors are OK, it's light intensity. Like Jose said either lower light intensity or add more co2 Thanks

first thing I would change these reactors to either inline or proper external reactor or at least 2 intank diffusers Thanks

Ill go with 50% light for 8 hours(dropped form 100% 9 hours ;]), upped co2, floaters(frogbit) and 2x 50% water change per week and see if it helps

Yes it's mainly staghorn and hair algae on moss. Week ago I lowered light intensity and duration so hopefully it will help. Filter is not clogged as I clean it every other week - maybe to often.. As for Excel, I would rather not put any chemicals into tank... Thanks
