i have a large piece of Oak in one of my tanks, fallen off dead bit, i soaked for 2 weeks prior to use, it's been in the tank since 2007, been just fine. Has Java moss & fern growing on it, the BN plecs often scoot about on it.. when it went in, in 07' 08'

Was admiring this one in da'mag. really like it, when i move (end of year?) hopefully i'll have enough space to set up that tank properly, i am going to do a biotope, yours have been very inspiring. L

Saw Alice Cooper last week, very good! i only knew 2 songs, Poison (which i LOVE!) and Schools Out, but was good show, very theatrical, he died like 5 times lol Only had camera phone, but still - couple pics.

I'm not sure what this plant is, I can't remember, got it from Dan couple years ago. and well, it's just grown massive of late, totally out grown the tank, but I have no where to move it at them moment, my bigger tank is cold water. I cut back some of the leaves today, and when I took the tank...

Having seen the tanks up close and with the naked eye. They really were perfectly crisp and clear. I spent a lot of time over the weekend looking at them, and even watched when the photos were being taken and the end of the show, the tanks weren't prepped for the photo shoot, photos were taken...

Saw U2 in Cardiff last night, very good! stage was amazing, and crowd loved it all! They did my fave track 'With or Without You' Had The Hours (which we missed due to super heavy traffic!) and Glasvegas (bit rubbish....tbh) as support.

Hopefully better this time, didnt play too much with settings yet...

Gotcha - Thanks Aaron. They are all pre set settings - this is 'flower' setting, there is 'sunset' 'snow' 'beach' all sorts...

Thanks Saintly. Yeh i'm still getting used to the camera. Just a thought with blank and white photographs then, as everything photograhped, like ever, is in colour, surley no one would bother with B&W at all? Just a thought... i personally like B&W very much, more so than colour. individual...

humm... i can see it in my head... i'll try, but i never have extended one so bear with me.... dig the hole next to your current pond, close to the edge as you can, partially fill, over lap the two edges of liner and seal together, then dig out the bit underneath holding it above water level...

When i did my first pond, was told go as big as you can as you'll want it bigger! i did, and i did, hence pond 2! is it liner? can lift one side and extend it that way...?

Was really pretty awesome, plastic dome with sponge edge to float.. then use pond vac to suck the air out, it fills with water and guy suggests tempting fish in with food till they get used to it. then to empty (suggested every 3 weeks for cleaning) use tube and suck to siphon water out. Really...

For those whom like Koi...! Was at the BKKS National Koi Show this past weekend. Some really beautiful fish there! Was great fun saw lots of folks i met last year, some i knew already and met some new folk too! (Ed was amongst those i saw too!) Few Piccys!
