When you say poor co2, I presume you mean at a low level? Not in the actual quality of the co2. :) It could be the flow then, as it is quite low. I used to use a spraybar under the water surface, but i can't fit it to this diffuser I'm using. FYI I didn't have the bar splashing into the water...

Hi, if it was worms, the fish would become thin, but the stomach/gut area would slightly swell. I'd be inclined to go with a bacterial problem. I'd treat the rest of the fish with a broad antibiotic.

Re: James3200s 6.5x2x2' planted tank - Discus now in Well, that is pretty! Only thing I'd say is for a tank that size you could double the amount of discus, though that might not be the best for the overall balance. I'd definately get 4 more myself. Congrats though!!!

OK Ive been for a jolly jaunt over to AE to price up me ferts, and it came to me that I use HMA water which has no effect on nitrates in my tap water feed. This means that at every water change I'm adding about 20-30ppm of nitrate. Should I still add KN03, or not? I must add it has been a while...

Hi Milla, yep, I know Harrogate aquatics, was there a while ago. I usually get my plants from greenline mail order. I'm looking for a fire extinguisher and maybe some ferts - well I say maybe but I suppose if I want decent growth then I don't mean that.
