Hi, I am restarting this tank and will be moving the fish I currently have out of it to add the new ones I will be getting, so the two types of fish I will be keeping are endlers and gourami. In terms of the gourami I am trying to figure out my options, I kept dwarf gourami a while back and...

    Keeping Murdannia keisak

Hi guys, I am going to be re- starting my tank after a long time of leaving it from losing interest and this time am making sure I take every step to minimise issues. So the tank itself is completely cycled but developed a lot of algae issues early on. I blame this on the fact I did not care...

Microsorum Trident dying quicker than it is growing? (Other tank is fine)

Hi, sorry perhaps I was a little vague. I am actually using a soil substrate and the rhyzome is above substrate; I am running Fluval's Aqualife and Plant LED, the tank is a Fluval F90 (130L) and am using a Fluval 306, I am not sure whether to upgrade to a 406 as the flow is quite low. I have...

Microsorum Trident dying quicker than it is growing? (Other tank is fine)

Hi all, I set up a 130L planted aquarium a few months ago if not longer and overall and growing to dislike it very much. I am battling algae most likely due to not running CO2 (the plants and lighting should have meant CO2 was not required and do not dose any nutrients) but as this was meant to...

    An Attempt at Simplicity...

Hi John, thanks. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised with the tank mainly due to it being more or less complete for starting a tank as it included a light and filter; although I did not need the filter and the other fluval 300 model filters work as it uses the same tubing. Betta Fish in Vase Idea

I wouldn't advise it. Although it may be possible, I don't believe that the betta would be happy in a vase that small.
