Depends how u set ur tanks up ....but that's gonna be one big sump ....ur main problem is gonna be flow through the sump , unless you use floating media ? , some nice plumbing work would do the trick If I had the room and was going to do a good setup , I'd have the tanks flowing into each...

Just googled it ....moss and yogurt seems a good combo to grow moss ....but....I'd recommend taking it out , disposing of the yogurt and doing some research on aquatic moss while your cleaning the tank ready for round 2 :-)

OK this is the 1st time I have ever heard about blending yogurt and moss ....can u explain why you would add yogurt ?

Mine is vertical , the spray bar is in the top right corner vertically, with the flow pointing towards the middle of the tank , the filter part of the pump has a plastic shroud which I have drilled a hole to insert my co2 pipe , i m running a diy kit using yeast, and the bubbles being produced...

Add PVA glue to the paint , and prime with PVA as suggested to stop the MDF sucking any moisture ....PVA is a resin in itself and once dry is water resistant ;-)

Sorry iv been at it again :( bought some led strip lights from the bay of E and got creative... their 60watt output so not bad :-) Their super bright but dimable going to secure them to the hood just waiting for the silicone to dry :-)

Nearly forgot , if screwing into an end, always place the screw at least 50mm away (length of a thumb ish) from the end of the sheet ....so say I have a 50cm by 50cm by 10mm thick sheet and I'm screwing into the 10mm bit , u need to do it at least 5 cm away from the corner otherwise it will split .

Hi , I got a 400ltr tank with a 100ltr sump ....its my 1st time setting up a sump filter and quite frankly I dunno what I'm supposed to be doing ..... I got alfagrog on top with the black , blue, then green filter media... this then goes into the middle partition with more alfagrog then this...
