A lot of it was new growth, they were only small patches to begin with from a tropica 1-2 grow pot, the other parts are ok at the moment which is why I'm confused it was only that patch, plus the tank has been planted for just over 3 weeks now.

I'll see how it does over the next week, the increased fert dosing might help it a bit as the tank seemed pretty low on nitrate so the rest were probably a bit depleted

I'm highly suspecting it got pretty beaten up in shipping, not sure if I should try and see if it recovers or message the seller. I've left it floating for now, it was only getting worse where it was.

The light in the flex isn't amazing but everything else is going well, even the Hygrophila pinnatifida is growing ok which is a medium light plant, is it worth just pulling it up and letting it float so it has even more light and CO2?

Sorry, the sand is going on tropica growth substrate so it'll be staying there :thumbup: I just didn't know if it might go a bit mouldy or horrible if it was left for a few days.

This might be a weird question but I was considering washing the sand and putting it in the tank to figure out the scape, Will it be an issue leaving wet sand sat on the tropica for a few days until plants arrive?
