    Like it. :thumbup: Im thinking that you should get about 3 pots of java fern and wrap it to tons of rocks and pack out the mid ground. Java fern grows tight when tied down compact in my experience. Then flood the foreground with dwarf hair grass (use fert tabs of no substrate under the sand)...

    I always get best results with whacking the temperature up to 30 degrees for about 4 days. No chemicals or additives. I've had it twice in the year and a half ive kept fish (always from not quarantining new fish) and thankfully this worked fast both times.

    good idea. I'll look into it. My discus tank is massively populated and when i water change in there, the glass has tonnes of tiny water fleas on it. If they can survive in there...they can def populate this tank...plus i use the water from the discus tank to top up this one.
