If you looking at doing a planted tank then the Flex is a better option although very limited. For the price of the flex i would be looking at the Dennerle scaper tank it's an extra £20 but a fair superior tank and will long term be a better option.

Hi Zeus, cheers for replying I do have Amano shrimp but only 5 (borrowed from my sons tank) at the moment as i got caught out by the lockdown so have not been able to buy any. I'm doing 90% every other day water changes and removing as much as possible manually so keep up with this from now.

Got to agree with Keith, that type of sand what looks like kids silica sand will turn anaerobic very quickly. Perhaps swap it for a large grain size.
