Well I placed my diffuser under the inlet of the lily pipe...appears to be working great! Would definately recommend this is anyone has a shallow tank! Have even been able to turn down the CO2! Have plenty of movement under the water and now not worried about the surface moving so much.....oooh...

Hi Sam, Yeah I was kinda wondering if the glassware might be a problem with such a shallow tank...bit gutted cos i think they look so nice! The reason I'm not so sure about the circulation is that when I have the outflow directed along the short side of the tank there is no surface movement...

I love my lily pipes...unfortunately so do the snails. Not only do they clog up the inlet slits but they are now crawling inside my Eden 501! Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a problem or should I just hope they enjoy their new home? Sam

Hello, I've got loads of snails in my tank which up to now I haven't minded at all. I've just recently changed to lily pipes and am now having a huge problem with baby snails getting caught in the fine slits on the lily inlet pipe. Does anyone know of anyway round this...I was thinking of...

Oh that makes me feel better! I was wondering if I had too much light (is that possible?). I'm using a T5 24w light, originally with a reflector but took that off as it was rather blinding in the tank!

Yeah it is quite strange dimensions compared to whats on the market. As I said nano flat! I must admit its been quite a challenge getting adequate flow and getting plants for it that fit (in terms of height!!!). Just as well I love learning! :-)
