Picking up a 2nd hand fresh and plant 32w unit tomorrow. And just wanted to clear a few concerns up....
1) is there a version 1 of this light or is it just 2.0? Reason I ask is because I can't find any info on a previous model. I've asked the seller if he knows the exact model but he's unsure...

OK. I'll leave them on tank for a while and see how they go. Just wasn't sure the white that these emit would be the right colour spectrum for plant growth
Just ended up picking up a ocean revive t247 full spectrum led unit on way home from work. Is primarily a marine unit, but read of people with great results using it. Blues are on seperate channel so I'll have them real low
Can get a Ocean Revive T247 (full spectrum led unit) locally that's practically brand new. Will this be good for plants? Obviously I'll need to tweak the levels of individual colours, but it should work shouldn't it?
Was going to order the led floodlights but not sure on the longevity of them as...

Anyone had them for an extended period of time and can comment on their reliability?

What are them light like? Tempted, but haven't heard of them. Had a quick look online and some saying the Chihiros A series would be better option for plants?
Just setting up a new planted aquarium now after running marine for past 2-3 years.
On my last planted aquarium I grew monte carlo carpet with ease, just using play sand as my substrate. Used easy carbo liquid Co2 and root tabs and it grew like weeds
I have deep tank... A little shy if 2 foot deep. And looking for a led fixture for it.
Have seen the fluval pro units, aswell as aquaone plantglo..
Are these going to put out enough light to reach the bottom and be able to grow plants?

Stripped down my aqua reef 195 and shall be using that for my planted tank.
