Thank you. I don't mind it on the rocks and like you said it looks natural just annoying on the sand but I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and let it run its course.

Just got home and the tetra didn't make it . The eSHa 2000 will be hear tomorrow so I will treat the whole tank when it arrives and keep a close eye on things. I'll do a water change tonight and my maintenance day is Friday so a bigger water change then aswell

I've never seem any of my live stock not get on so I can only assume it's a illness. Hopefully I can get it into it's own tank this evening and find out how I go about treating it and its tail grows back and makes a recovery

Evening all. I have 20 embra tetras in my tank with amarno shrimp and red cherry shrimp but noticed today that one of the tetras has a tail missing. Is it heard of that another tetra could be tail nipping it or could it be a illness?

Could it be that simple. At the start of the week I dropped the daily dosing to try and address the algae build up I've been getting so I assumed it was due to that and was planning to up it to between the previous amount and the amount I've been doing this week.

I started dosing 3ml each day from monday and my cryptocoryne is suffering. Only thing that's changed is the dosing. Could this be due to not enough TNC complete? Sorry for the questions I'm starting to think im biting off more then I can chew. Can you please help

Thank you for your help. I'll drop it down to 3ml per day with about 70% water changes per week. I am injecting CO2 as well

So with my 120 litre tank would you say 5ml per day would be recommended based on manufacturer's instructions at 3 times the dose? I do 70% water changes once a week

Juwell internal and a eheim 350 skimmer. I'm getting good flow around the tank with all plants moving nicely and good co2 circulation.

I have a juwell lido 120l tank with the pump that comes with it (500lph according to manufacturer), so am thinking of using a power head in the tank to help circulation. I was looking at the hydor koralia nano 900 and would a combined 1400lph be ok to help circulate when co2 is in use?
