    LETs LED !

Nice build, I like the way acrylic is neatly concealing the wires, very aesthetically done. Epoxy gluing the channels is a pretty neat idea:thumbup: . Is it the normal epoxy or epoxy heat sink comound? There are a few doubts I have.. How are you running these LEDs parallel on constant...

Thank you guys for your kind words! I am glad that I did the right thing.. @joakimli I am open for plant options. I want to go for the harmonous blend of various textures of FG plants we often see in Amano Sans's initial works. At the moment am thinking of HC, mud glosso, ug and haigrass...

Red Rock Iwagumi - 17 Dec update

Hi guys, update time on this scape. Took me some time to replace the tank and redid the entire thing for past couple of days. The old scape didnt completely represent iwagumi layout somehow in true sense, so I reworked it for a more natural and proper iwagumi setting. What do you think?

This is what I have in mind as for the planting goes...cant decide which one to go for. option 1 option 2 Visually, I like the second one better but for a few months now, I dont want it to be a high maintenance setup with a ton of stems. I will like a few rocks to partially disappear, but...

Hello Folks, Been a long time and finally I am starting my new scape. Its a 70x40x40cm tank Had these beautiful set of rocks lying around for long with right proportion for this tank, so I decided to try an iwagumi layout with these. After doodling a bit, this is a decent hardscape I could...

    CO2 inline diffuser

What is the size of your setup? If its 50g+ then normal diffusers wont be effective for it. Forget it if you are running a sump. I highly suggest a reactor(you can make one too), last one I tried was ISTA mixmax/turbo, it works like a charm with a powerful pump/powerhead. Up Aqua and JBL(I...

    Otocinclus Affinis or Vittatus?

Affinis are better of the two in my experience(for algae eating), they are a bit hardy too. I once had like a dozen vittatus in 30g and for two months the did nothing significant to clear diatoms, while affinis half that number did a better job. Anyway, I dont rely much on any algae eaters...

    Background and carpeting plants....

How about some red crypt retrospiralis for BG and lileopsis brasilensis(a bit shorter than pygmy swords) for FG. Marsileas, though not grasslike but stays pretty short and are very hardy FG plants.

    smallest carpeting plant

For Marsilea crenata, you have found the right thing, but what is shown there is the emersed form. In submerged conditions it stays fairly compact about 1/4th-1/2 size of marsilea hirsuta. Wild Betta Spec - Betta Channoides
