    Ph droping but still blue

Hi Katfish, Are you using tap/tank water in your drop checker? If so you need to use 4dkh solution, this can be purchased from our sponsers. Rowly

what do you think of these tanks?

Nice tanks, BUT, the lid comes off as one piece which is a problem when using the built in filteration system Rowly

    Too much flow??

The problem i can see assuming that your talking about an external filter, is how are you going to prime it if its on a timer? Rowly

    FE Co2 Problem

Hi LP, I had a similar problem to this, and i worked out that the cellotape holding the handle down had stretched. Replaced the cellotape with a ziptie and all is good. For some reason this wasn't causing the pressure reading to drop either, maybe mines dodgy. Might not be the case here but...

Not convinced my CO2 system is working correctly :(

    best size of tank

Hi Willow-puss, Check out the the journal's and planted tank gallery there's a few members who have 620t's, one that sticks in my head is Bogwood's http://ukaps.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f= ... hilit=620t I too used to have one of these tanks and found it very diffcult to get adequate flow...

Not convinced my CO2 system is working correctly :(

Right there's the problem, you need to use water of a known KH to get a true reading. You can buy it from our sponsers http://www.aquaessentials.co.uk/ae-desi ... -3979.html Just instead of putting tank water in you top up with this solution. It's explained better in this thread...

Not convinced my CO2 system is working correctly :(

I'm not familiar with the kit your using, does it require you to put some water from the tank inside the checker? You don't need the glass ones they all do the same job, it's just the glass ones look nicer Rowly

Not convinced my CO2 system is working correctly :(

Hi ojustaboo, Are you using 4dkh solution in your dropchecker? If not then this could be giving you the false reading. Regards, Rowly

    My Tank

Love the tank, i'm a big fan of island type scapes. Whats the dark green plant middle right? I think that a darker background would really make the scape stand out, thats my personal opinion though ;) Rowly

    190L Corner Tank

Looking very nice, the Pogostemon Helferi seems to be filling in nicely, and you've had some excellent growth judging by the pics, i'd be tempted to change the background to a plain or diffused one though (but thats just me!). Good luck and keep us posted. Rowly ;)

    2ft High & WPG?

I've got a 2 ft high tank and i've heard that this will effect my WPG? I was wondering how much will it effect it by? The only thing i can find on the net is to use T5's, but it says nothing about how much it effects it by. I have an 120ltr tank, with 84w T5HO Thanks Rowly

First planned planted tank & first Iwagumi (?) attempt

Hi Animal Mother, I have a 2ft high tank, so i was going to try and have a valley like yourself, but higher with weeping moss growing down into it, with maybe Vallis Nana around the tops, and crypts around the front. I need to get the funding together first tho, will hopefully be starting it...
