Man i wish i could help out more on this one... The only thing i can think of is... As it is a red plant ... it will need alot of light, i once tried out some red plants and they perished fast and that was with just over 2WPG I used to use that Nutrafin plant gro and to be honest i dont think...

Okk my whole first post was pretty much irrelevant.... After a second read i saw the part that says you are going to cover the white rocks with moss.... Soo... I cant wait to see how it turns out :) It will look a whole lot better when its only one rock type i think... Richie

Dude thats bloody stunning for such a small tank :) Only thing that i would change would be... the 2 different rock types... The light rock on the left and the dark slatey rock on the right is a bit too much in a scape this small i think.... Even in a larger tank i think many scapers find it...

Id love to get a hold of some of the sumatra wood too for my 120cm scape. I live in scotland and as far as i know there are no world of water or madien head aquatics nearby :( So im kind of stuck in a rutt for hardscape.

Re: Cheap And Expensive Luminaire Questions! I would ideally like around 3WPG I dont want too much, but i dont want too little so 3WPG seems good to me. Which the x3 54 watt "cheap" luminaire would provide bang on.... Id probably use it with a 8 hour straight photoperiod as 3WPG isnt too...
