Well I'd say Amazon Swords, but those grow over 30 cm in length over a year or more I suppose. I don't have super strong light so my swords don't grow super fast.
Thanks for replying to me Chris.
So you are saying that 90% water change is bad for the plants? I only change about 2 gallons of water in my 29 gallon. I don't know if that is good though O_O The person at my local pet store says that you should use Flourish twice a week. So I've been doing...
Ah I see.
So how often should I change my bulbs? Once a year? I was thinking of getting a T5 HO fixture for my aquarium from a local pet store I live nearby. I just hope that stronger light will help my plants grow faster or so... Or probably get C02 to be put into my tank. With just the...
All of my oto's when i introduced them into my tank and let them get used to it. Then about 4-5 hrs later when it was feeding time, they swam straight up to the surface to get the flakes that all of my other fishes were eating. They were really nice and healthy and were fairly large too. They...
I don't see why not. I have a bunch of gouramis in my 29 gallon tank. About 3. One blue gourami, and 2 lavender gouramis. They grow big but like within a year they will be about 5-6" I suppose. Mine are still growing. I have a common pleco inside my 29 gallon tank and none of my gouramis...
Thanks. Yes I don't use C02. I've used the Reverse Osomosis water for a long time and then I stopped. So I don't know if that has C02 in it. My plants seems to be very nice and green, but the older leaves are dieing and newer ones are coming up.
Is there stronger wattage for my aquarium...
Hmm, the only cold water plants I know are pond plants. Maybe Cabombas would work? I see them every where in North America. Duckweed sure, but they spread like crazy around your entire tank.
So I'm guessing if you are going to get energy saving bulbs, they are fluorescent light tubes?? like T8 or T5 long tubes like that?? Do you have a metal halide cover so then you can put in a bulb like that that can shine light over the tank? I don't really know if energy saving bulbs are...
Hello.
I am new here, and I was wondering since I have a 29 gallon tank and a 10 gallon tank and I have live plants and fishes (of course xD) and I was wondering. Would 20 W 6,500k be strong enough light for my amazon swords? It is also a high intensity lamp. I have an Aqua Clear filter...
